I thought that was odd, but figured that maybe it simply formatted the card on first boot. I was disappointed, but I backup often so it was no big loss. However, upon plugging the micro SD into my computer, I discovered all my data was still there!
I put it back in the phone, and you can’t see ANY of this data anywhere in Astro. Wait, it gets weirder Under SD card, total space is listed as 7. If I take the SD card out? Does anyone know what in the HELL is going on? I am completely baffled and I want to use the all this storage space that my 16gb card should grant me, but I can’t get my phone to cooperate.

You sure you have the sd card in correctly, clicked usb debugging and click usb mass storage. Well, I had been wanting to nix motoblur, so I went ahead and flashed Epic Unleashed tonight and that seems to have fixed it.
