This means you can show them exactly what you want them to do and it will give them a better idea as to what they are letting themselves in for.

A mod is not something that you just do on a whim. My mod went together during the course of 5 months before we even got anywhere near an alpha, with 3 different units for each side. Our goal was something like 30 units, plus titans. The project was shelved as a result of the immense problems with the coding. I still have the mod, and play it a little from time to time. This might sound unbeleivable “Please Punch Me in the Face”, but we could just come together and complete Death’s mod?

Your orks in the finished mod could simply be vanilla zombies with a new skin and you could use those in conjunction with a custom map such as the titan to get a lot of the feel of 40k with far less work than a full mod. The OP just seems to be wishlisting stuff and adding nothing to the project. Also, not to piss on your dreams but have you got any idea how much time and effort is involved with making a proper mod? I’ve only done a tiny bit of coding for a single game in the past, it was torture. And that was nothing but scripting a few NPC ‘s and quests. Add in texture packs, item models, item skins, item mechanics etc.

A mod is not something you make on a whim. Perhaps start with reskins and custom maps.
