Apr 21,  · Power Globes are power-ups similar to Health Globes that appear in Diablo III. They have a very small chance to drop off any enemy instead of a Health Globe. Picking up a power globe triggers a burst of energy that strikes nearby enemies for a percentage of the player’s damage, and also grants the player and nearby allies the Nephalem Glory buff. It is a terrible mechanic. Most players want to show off their skill and dedication by pushing higher rifts, and none of them want to tie their success to…finding NG globe.

Unfortunately, this is what it comes down to a lot of times. Get RG with adds and hope you kill enough adds to spawn NG globe. NG globe mechanic is literally the most hated game mechanic on console. Not once in hours playing. Be careful what you wish for. Blizzard might decide to remove the globes without adjusting the base damage, leaving you at half damage all the time on console. They are not known for making reasonable decisions at the moment, just look at the Hungering Arrow pierce nerf, or how they completely destroyed Etched Sigil for Meteor builds without any damage compensation.

I have read conflicting info about console damage being halved without the globes. Anyone have an official source to confirm or refute this? In all honesty they never should have been introduced into the game in the first place along with health and progression globes. Our damage on the console will never be remotely equal to a pc players power. Do you have any suggestions?

If you want to get a blue reaction, post about some typo. Console: Currently, NG Globe provide x2 damage buff, but the monsters has 1. I suggest that the Console monster hp should be as same as PC version. There is no difference between getting a globe on pc VS console, so that part of your argument is already bs.

I am pretty bad at this game. I can only get to like Grift at absolute max. Those guys pushing higher grifts? They have higher paragon levels, they have taken the time to get the best version of the best-in-slot gear for every part of their build. Git gud, or go home. And keep stuff like this to the live general forums. There is difference. On Console, it offers 2x dmg buff, but the monsters has a 1.

Because the uptime of the globe is inconsistent, when the globe effect wears off, it is much harder for console players to kill enemies. Then how about this: Dont remove the globes.

Stop making the monsters have more hp for literally no reason which I dont believe is even happening because I have played on console and noticed no difference. It fixes nothing and just makes the problem kind of worse…. So yes, it makes a difference.

Hey homerj – found a post on ptr for ya. ARe you complaining about getting free buffs? I have virtually never told this to anybody, but for you, I will make a very special exception.
