This might already be out there but I think that there should be even more stash space than we see right now. Currently there is additional room with two tabs in the shared stash space that is supposed to replace mule characters.
However, now with mule characters they no longer have their own stash tab. In the original D2 you would just make more mules as needed. Personally I am a pack rat so this would be a problem for me. Like you still need to mule, your main gatherer will drop it into shared stash, you log into your mule and move it from shared stash to personal.
You have two tabs in the stash now. One is shared, the other is not. Every character has a stash tab that is just for that character.
All characters also share an additional stash. Other parts you see just Shared I… So it looks like there will be a way to get more. The question remains is how? In game gold? A real money purchase? An achievement system to earn them? If the true goal of giving us a shared stash is to limit our need for mules, they need to be generous with them. I used to run 8 mules and I know I did not run that many. Three tabs will not be enough as a typical player if organized will run one tab for gems another for runes yes stacking will reduce the need for a tab of each, only good argument for it IMO , then we get into weapons armor etc.
Three tabs is the bare minimum. Eh for multiplayer you really want some attrition to keep the economy going. Otherwise I could see people hoarding so much that items lose too much value over the long term. On old bnet you could make multiple accounts over and over, and never run out of mule space. With the new bnet client you will probably be limited to a max amount of chars per account meaning you would have to buy another copy of D2R to add more mules.
Hopefully we have plenty of stash space. Nope, the devs themselves said, that they just played around with it and at the time, they did not yet know, how it would be in the release version. Maybe for casual players I would agree. Anyone who plans to play multiple game modes, and play for longer than 1 season will definitely feel a lower QoL than d2. Is this an issue that only I deal with? What does everyone else think about this? Just make mules like we had to in the old days.
I thought they did Increase the stash size?
