It then failed to boot after restart. The only option was to press F1, and run setup. Whatever changes I made and saved, after restarting, boot would fail. The keyboard wasn’t even powered and nothing would appear on the screen at all. Unforunately did not change anything. I’ve tried all of these troubleshooting steps with too. I would like to make note that my system has been running absolutely perfectly since the day it was built, until now. ZAR with was perfect. I also tried 3 different USB drives in order to reinstall with the EZ Flash 3 utility, in the case there was an error with one.

However, when I purchased this motherboard I forgot to read the fine print, ASUS were deceptive by listing this feature for the ZAR as it requires a separate card that plugs into the headers. However, the funny thing is, the card appears to be vaporware hardware that has been advertised but is not yet available to buy, either because it is only a concept or because it is still being written or designed.

To be honest, if it’s not out now, they don’t intend to release it and it was likely a marketing scam. This is not really new technology anymore. I can’t even find it on the ASUS e-store. Are you kidding? It’s been 10 to 15 years since Gigabytes dual BIOS, its very strange sitting here with a bricked motherboard from a big brand in What else can I try? Should I remove other hardware?

If so what is the purpose, out of interests sake? Thank you in advance. Feb 25, 1 0 1. Paul NZ Polypheme. Sep 15, 20, 3 61, 2, Calvin7 Titan. Feb 19, 11, 76, 3, Unfortunately, Asus does not clearly describe this in their description. You may want to write them about your issue. Paul NZ :. Calvin7 :. I have completed another 8 or so hours of troubleshooting with no success, for anyone following.

I removed the battery and shorted the CMOS 4 times, with a few hours between each attempt. There was no GPU and keyboard was the only device connected. I also alternated between keyboards. All seemed to be pretty futile. Was looking at manually overwriting the BIOS, however I got stuck at the write protection and could not work out how to progress further. I saw a few third party options but it’s probably beyond my coding ability.

Unfortunately something has clearly gone wrong. Apr 30, 1 0 0. I have same problems with my ZAR. How do you use this programar thing? Really really want to go back to bios.
